Stamford Man Faces DWI Charge
The suspect was arrested early Monday by New York State Police.

A Stamford man is facing driving while intoxicated after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation in New York State early Monday.
According to New York State Police, at about 1:28 a.m. Monday, when State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87 in Clarkstown for a traffic violation. The driver of the vehicle, identified as Darwin O. Ruano, 31, of Stamford, “was found to be intoxicated,” according to a police press release.
Ruano was transported and processed at the state police barracks in New Rochelle, where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.09%, according to the release.

Ruano was charged with Driving While Intoxicated. He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Clarkson Court on July 13.
