Stamford Police arrested and charged a 20-year-old man with drug and weapons violations after a 10-month-long investigation, according to Lt. Timothy Shaw.
The Stamford Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit arrested Jason Novy, of Oaklawn Ave., on Friday, Feb. 22nd, 2013.
According to Shaw, Stamford police conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle Novy was allegedly operating along Strawberry Hill Avenue at approximately 4:30 p.m.
Officers handcuffed Novy and a passenger, and a search allegedly turned up a small bag of marijuana on Novy's person and a large machete located in the vehicle, Shaw said.
Officers who then executed a search warrant on his Oaklawn Ave. basement apartment, assisted by patrol and K-9 units, allegedly found the following "arsenal," as Shaw described:
- Marlin Lever Action Rifle Model 336 (.30-.30 caliber)
- Winchester Lever Action Rifle Model 94 (.30-.30 caliber) w/ brown case
- Stag Arms AR-15 Rifle Model Stag-15 (5.56 caliber) w/ black case
- Keltec Rifle Model Sub 2000 (.40 cal caliber)
Officers also located a safe in the apartment which allegedly contained approximately 10 grams of suspected cocaine, approximately 30 grams of marijuana and illegal prescription Adderall. Also in the safe were numerous empty baggies, allegedly for drug packaging, a scale and over $2,000.
Novy was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance, operating a drug factory and weapons in a motor vehicle.
Novy was held in lieu of a $100,000 bond and was given a court date of March 8, 2013.
Reginald Le-Conde Callands, 38, of S. Pacific St., charged Sunday night with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree criminal trespass.
Jessica Rachel Calorossi, 24, of Norman St., charged Saturday night with second-degree breach of peace and second-degree threatening.
Jesse Cardenas, 30, of Berges Ave., charged Friday night with risk of injury to a child and second-degree failure to appear.
Oscar Cardona-Aguilar, 22, of Vernon Pl., charged early Monday with illegal use of tinted glass and illegal operation of a motor vehicle while under suspension.
Edson Casseus, 27, of W. Main St., charged early Saturday with illegal operation of a motor vehicle and sale of certain illegal drugs.
Chanel Derubis, 23, of Van Buskirk Ave., charged early Monday with possession of a hallucinogen or greater than four ounces of marijuana, sale of certain illegal drugs and third-degree criminal trespass.
Bailey Jerome Eric, 56, of Fairfield Ave., charged Friday afternoon with disorderly conduct.
Edyne E. Exantus, 21, of Long Ridge Rd., charged Sunday night with disorderly conduct, second-degree threatening and third-degree assault.
Rebecca Exantus, 19, of Long Ridge Rd. charged early Monday with disorderly conduct, second-degree threatening, third-degree assault and carrying a dangerous weapon.
Michael Gaglio, 46, of North Ave. in Bridgeport, charged Friday morning with third-degree identity theft, illegal use of a credit card and sixth-degree larceny.
Wilfredo Alberto Garcia, 31, of East Ave., charged early Saturday with operation of a motor vehicle without a license and improper turns.
Selvin Garcia-Vargas, 20, of West Ave., charged Friday afternoon with possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a motor vehicle without a license.
Martin Gonzalez, 31, of Hamilton Ave., charged early Monday with second-degree breach of peace and second-degree criminal attempt at assault.
Damian Huari, 32, of North St., charged early Sunday with second-degree breach of peace and two counts of third-degree assault.
Patrick Iorfino, 43, of Washington Blvd., charged Friday night with disorderly conduct and interfering with an emergency call.
Christopher E. Jones, 29, of Stillwater Ave., charged early Sunday with possession of narcotics and possession of a hallucinogen or greater than four ounces of marijuana.
George A. Kelsey, 52, of High St., charged early Saturday with illegal possession of narcotics, failure to renew registration and failure to display lights.
Jose Daniel Lima-Rivera, 25, of Lockwood Ave., charged Friday night with third-degree assault and two counts risk of injury to a child.
William David Lopez-Campos, 23, of Finney Ln., charged Friday night with improper rear/marker lamps, operation of a motor vehicle without a license, operating or towing an unregistered vehicle and failure to insure a private motor vehicle.
Hector Lopez-Collazo, 36, of Southwood Ave., charged Sunday morning with third-degree assault.
Claribel Lopez-Martinez, 28, of Fairfield Ave., charged Sunday evening with thrid-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
Ever Alexander Najera-Martinez, 24, of Lillian St., charged early Monday with illegal operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs and alcohol, failure to grant the right of way at an intersection, operation of a motor vehicle without a license and failure to obey a two brake systems requirement.
Andre Jamar Nelson, 23, of Harbor Dr., charged Sunday morning with second-degree failure to appear.
Natasha Pennywell, 30, of Harbor Dr., charged Friday night with sixth-degree larceny.
Maria Vyacheslavov Trynikina, 25, of W. Broad St., charged Sunday afternoon with fifth-degree larceny.
