Firefighters Extinguish Yacht Fire In Mystic: Report

MYSTIC, CT — Fire officials said firefighters were able to extinguish a stubborn blaze inside a 70-foot yacht docked at the Seaport Marine on Monday, the New London Day reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, officials said.

According to the Day, officials said firefighters needed cut holes in the deck and move equipment in order to reach the source of the fire, but were ultimately able to stop it from spreading.
