Handmade for the Holidays: 744 Long Hill Rd. Groton, Monday through Friday, until December 21, noon to 5 p.m.: The fifth annual Handmade for the Holidays show features more than twenty local artists.


Bejeweled & All Wrapped Up for the Holidays: Gales Ferry Community Center, 18 Hurlbutt Rd., Gales Ferry, Tuesday through Saturday noon to 6 p.m., Sunday noon to 2 p.m., until December 23. Artwork by local and regional artists for sale.

Holiday Cards and Other Items for Sale: Habitat for Humanity of Southeastern Connecticut, 377 Broad St, New London, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Holiday cards, and other homemade items such as glass ornaments and hats are for sale. Proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity of Southeastern Connecticut.
