Author Jennifer Baszile Returns to Stratford Library
Author Jennifer Baszile, whose critically acclaimed memoir, "The Black Girl Next Door", served as the "One Book, One Stratford" selection for the Stratford Library four years ago, will return to Stratford for a special “Black History Month” program on Monday, March 3 at 6:30 pm.  The special event has been rescheduled from its initial February date due to inclement weather.  It will be the final program in the Library's monthlong "Created Equal" series, a nationwide program examining films that explore the Civil Rights movement in America.  The Library will screen the notable documentary, "Slavery By Another Name" prior to Baszile's talk.

The program, held in the Library's Lovell Room, is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will also be served.
