EAST LYME, CT – Fire officials <a href="http://www.theday.com/policefirecourts/20160912/lawn-tractor-sparks-east-lyme-house-fire" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">have determined a lawn tractor to be the cause</a> of a Monday afternoon house fire, The Day reported.  The tractor <a href="http://www.theday.com/policefirecourts/20160912/lawn-tractor-sparks-east-lyme-house-fire" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">was parked behind the Ground Circle house</a>, and caused heavy smoke and flames on the outside of the house, according to The Day. Firefighters were called to the house fire close to 5:50 p.m.  The homeowner <a href="http://www.theday.com/policefirecourts/20160912/lawn-tractor-sparks-east-lyme-house-fire" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">was home at the time of the fire</a>, The Day reported.
