Old Lyme High School Student Arrested Following Inappropriate Emails Investigation
Police said a Lyme-Old Lyme High School teacher's email account was accessed, and inappropriate mass emails were sent from it.

OLD LYME, CT – Old Lyme resident state troopers arrested a 15-year old high school student Thursday following an investigation into inappropriate emails.
The Old Lyme Resident State Trooper’s Office arrested one juvenile after conducting an investigation into inappropriate emails at Lyme-Old Lyme High School, according to a release.
Police said a Lyme-Old Lyme High School teacher’s email account was accessed on Sept. 7, and inappropriate mass emails were sent from it. Troopers were able to identify a juvenile suspect after investigating the situation.
Troopers applied for and were granted search warrants for email accounts. A 15-year old male student, who was not identified by police, was later arrested as a result of the investigation.
