Car Fire Shuts Down I-84 West Lanes

TOLLAND, CT - A car fire temporarily shut down lanes on Interstate-84 westbound this morning during the morning commute, state police said.

It was quickly extinguished and lanes were re-opened at about 9 a.m., state police said.

Tolland public safety officials said motorists could expect some minor delays as the scene is cleaned up.
