Garbage Fire Breaks Out In Truck In Tolland

TOLLAND, CT — A fire broke out in a garbage truck in Tolland Wednesday.

Fire officials reported the incident at about 2:30 p.m.

The truck was at the Exit 69 commuter lot, fire officials said. Some garbage in the truck had caught on fire and the incident also involved utility wires, officials said.

Traffic was being delayed in the area.
