SUV Bursts Into Flames On I-84 In Tolland

TOLLAND, CT — A sport utility vehicle burst into flames Thursday night on a section of Interstate 84 in Tolland.

The fire was reported at about 9:30 p.m.

When Tolland firefighter arrived at the scene on the westbound side of the highway between exits 68 and 67, the SUV was engulfed in flames, fire officials said.

The fire was extinguished relatively quickly and no injuries were reported.
