SUV Rolls Onto Its Roof In Tolland Monday Afternoon

TOLLAND, CT — A vehicle rolled onto its roof in a busy part of Tolland as the afternoon commute was beginning, fire officials said.

The crash took place at about 4 p.m. near 65 Merrow Road, fire officials said.

A silver sport utility vehicle could be seen on its roof at the entrance to a shopping plaza parking lot near Papa T's restaurant.

MVA Alert: Units are responding to a motor vehicle accident rollover in the area of 65 Merrow Rd (Route 195). Please use caution in the area.

No injuries reported.

The fire department was still at the scene at 5 p.m. waiting on a wrecker, officials said.
