The Trumbull Water Pollution Control Authority will discuss Nichols sewer assessments and the Board of Education will tackle the budget this week.

The three WPCA special sessions will be Dec. 4 and 5, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., and another Thursday (Dec. 6) from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday's meeting will be in Town Hall; the next at Trumbull High School; and the last at Booth Hill School.

An informational document on assessments is here on the town's Website. It is also here.

The Board of Education will meet twice, Dec. 4 and Dec. 6, at the Long Hill Administration Building, starting at 6:30 p.m. both times.

The board will discuss the 2013-2014 budget proposal.

This current education budget approved earlier this year is $91,353,624, an increase of 4.47 percent over last year, according to the document listed on the town's Website.
