President Barack Obama Cancels Connecticut Trip for Ebola Meeting

President Barack Obama canceled his scheduled trip to Bridgeport on Wednesday in order to have a meeting about the Ebola virus that has infected multiple people in Texas.

Obama was scheduled to appear Wednesday night at Central High School to help support Gov. Dannel Malloy in his bid for a second term. The president was in Greenwich last week for a fundraiser dinner.

The trip will be rescheduled, according to the Connecticut Post.
