TRUMBULL, CT — A SUV caught fire after a crash on Whitney Avenue Tuesday afternoon.The SUV crashed into a utility pole and caught fire around 2 p.m., according to the Trumbull Center Fire Department. The driver managed to get to safety before firefighters arrived.The fire was quickly extinguished. Long Hill firefighters also responded to the scene.

Stop by between 9:00 am – 12:00 pm at 435 Main Street, Monroe (corner of Route 25 and Route 59). We’ll be there rain or shine! Paper Shredding: STILL ONLY $10 for a standard archive box (15”x12”x10”); price increases $5 according to container size.

This is the Annual Asher’s Answer 5K Run/Walk in honor of&nbsp;<a href="https://ashersanswer.org/about/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Asher Nathaniel Gibson.</a>
All proceeds will be used to provide support to our non-profit organization, <a href="https://ashersanswer.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Asher’s Answer</a>, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide financial support to families of children with rare trisomies.
This year, there will be games and activities for children under age 13, so feel free to bring the entire family!!!
NOTE: For safety and security purposes, race participants must be at least 13 yrs of age. Children younger than that can still come and participate in various games/activities while their parents race, but cannot race. Infant and toddlers may race with their parents only if they are transported in strollers or strapped to parents (ie body carriers).
