NE Nightingales Tip of the Week: Mark your calendars

NATIONAL WALKING DAY is Wednesday April 2nd.

Initiated by the American Heart Association, this day is to encourage Americans to put on their sneakers and take at least 30 minutes out of their day to get up and walk. It's a great way to raise awareness of the important of physical activity - even if it's simple - and to get your family, friends, co-workers, and those you care for started on a healthier way of life.
