Wallingford Police Participating in Life-Saving Yellow Dot Program
Police will hold a free presentation on the program, which is designed to provide first responders with vital information, next week.

From the Wallingford Police Department
The Wallingford Police Department, in conjunction with the Wallingford Senior Center and People’s United Bank, is participating in the life-saving Yellow Dot Program.
The Yellow Dot Program, created by Angela DeLeon of People’s United Bank, is designed to provide First Responders with vital information in the event of a car related emergency.
Please join us on Tuesday, May 10 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Wallingford Senior Center, located at 238 Washington Street, for a FREE presentation on the program and the opportunity to register. Complimentary refreshments will also be served.
To Register: Contact Officer J.M. D’Addio, Wallingford Police at 203-294-2824 or Debbie Voelker, Wallingford Senior Center at 203-265-7753.
How It Works: Seniors fill out a yellow card containing personal and medical information and attach a current photo to assure proper identification. The card is then stored in the glove compartment of their vehicle where it can be quickly found and used should they be unable to communicate. A circular yellow sticker, a “Yellow Dot”, is affixed to the left side of the rear window of their vehicle alerting first responders to look inside the glove compartment in case of an emergency.
What Information To Bring With You: Emergency contacts, Medications, Allergies, Medical History, Hospital Preference, Physician Information, & Pet Info.
