Halloween Events Tonight in Waterford

Police Chief Murray Pendleton has asked people not to trick-or-treat tonight, although other safe events are popping up.

Halloween Events Tonight in Waterford

Tuesday, Waterford Police Chief Murray Pendleton asked all Waterford residents to refrain from trick-or-treating tonight, something many other neighboring towns have done as well.

However, safe trick-or-treating events have popped up – or at least haven’t been cancelled – for people in Waterford. Here are some:

Halloween Party
Where: Quaker Hill Fire House
When: 6:30 to 8 p.m.
What: Enjoy free pizza, popcorn, soda and candy treats at the fire station. There is also Halloween costume contests for different age brackets, from young children to adult. There will be awards for best costume, most original and best homemade.

Halloween Party
Where: Filomena’s Restaurant
When: After 6 p.m.
What: Children who come in to the restaurant dressed in costume will eat for free and candy will be provided.

Halloween at the Aquarium
Where: Mystic Aquarium
When: 5 to 7:30 p.m.
What: There will be trick-or-treating and people can see the aquarium exhibits, all for free. The aquarium suffered no damage from the storm.
