It looks like that Facebook page is beginning to pay off.

Monday, the Waterford Police Department posted pictures on their Facebook page of a male and female suspect who allegedly smashed a car window out in a Waterford Dunkin' Donuts parking lot earlier that morning and stole a purse from the car. The duo then allegedly tried to use credit cards from the purse at 4:15 a.m. on Monday at the Waterford Walmart but was denied, according to the department's Facebook page.

The department posted photos of the male suspect, the female suspect and their car from security cameras on its Facebook page. Later that day, the department received a tip from a “watcher” of the department’s Facebook page, and the suspects were found, according to post on the department’s Facebook page.

“Good job Facebookers!,” the department wrote on its Facebook page. “Thanks for helping the WPD fight crime.”
