Muse Paintbar Spreads Love of Art to 2nd CT Location

Muse Paintbar Spreads Love of Art to 2nd CT Location
With frigid winter weather dragging on, Connecticut residents have exhausted almost every indoor activity option. But a new concept in entertainment is on the horizon. Muse Paintbar, the first paint and wine bar in CT, is expanding to include a second location in South Norwalk this spring. Their first location in West Hartford opened in September to rave reviews.

Muse offers the ultimate night out.  It enables people of all artistic abilities to be creative, while enjoying wine, beer, and bites in a relaxed atmosphere. Participants follow the artist’s instructions to create their very own masterpieces of famous works like Van Gogh’s Starry Night, seasonal images like a Saint Patrick’s Day clover, and area images like New England lighthouses and foliage.

“Muse allows local artists to share our passion and create art in a fun, relaxed atmosphere,” said Muse Paintbar Co-Founder and Lead Artist Vanessa Leigh. “Art can be intimidating.  We break down barriers by providing simple directions that allow people to get comfortable and gain confidence. By the end, they’ve had a great time and produced a piece of art they can be proud of and cherish forever.”

Muse offers public sessions where customers choose a painting from a calendar of events on events.musepaintbar.com, register online, and arrive at the spacious studio up to 30 minutes beforehand to unwind and socialize before the session begins.  The company also offers private parties for birthdays, fundraisers, work events, and bachelorette parties.

Children are welcome at any of the public events, as well as the family sessions where kid-friendly drinks and snacks are sold.  Muse also allows guests to bring their own food and drink to the studio session.

Muse is scheduled to open its doors at 55 North Main St. South Norwalk in May.

“We’re excited to join the South Norwalk community.” said Leigh.  “We love the artistic culture and vibe in SoNo.  It really does fit perfectly with what we do.”

Muse Paintbar is managed by Stan Finch (President) and Vanessa Leigh, and has existing locations in Portland, ME, Providence, RI, Manchester NH and West Hartford, CT.  Muse works hard to support the local economy and community; the company donates 5% of profits to local causes, and offers fundraiser opportunities. Please call 888.607.MUSE (6873) or visit www.MusePaintbar.com for more information.

Photo: In addition to offering a fun-filled night out, Muse Paintbar is often the inspiration for life’s memorable moments.  The studio recently played cupid to a lucky couple by creating a custom engagement painting for the man to use when he popped the question to his future bride.  The entire studio celebrated with the happy couple.
