University of Saint Joseph
Five members of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) community were recognized as recipients of the Distinguished Alumni Award for their outstanding service and professional accomplishments at a dinner held recently at the Hartford Marriott Downtown. USJ Alumni Association President Lois Nesci ’85, M’87 (pictured at far left) along with Vice President for Institutional Advancement Doug Nelson, M.B.A. and USJ Board of Trustees Chair Jeanne Merola (both pictured at far right) flank the honorees from left to right: Isabel Logan ’96, M.S.W., a social worker with the State of Connecticut Division of Public Defender Services and a resident of Simsbury; Beth Fischer, RSM, ’76, coordinator of community outreach and partnerships at USJ and a resident of West Hartford; Ann-Margaret Anselmo ’46, Ph.D., professor emeritus, University of Saint Joseph and a resident of New Britain; Bonnie Gauthier M’85, president and chief executive officer of Hebrew Health Care and a resident of West Hartford; Lorraine Reardon ’96, M’10, a registered dietician at the Charter Oak Health Center and a resident of Portland.
