All About Eyes

If you’ve ever had questions about cataracts, glaucoma, dry eyes, macular degeneration, floaters and eye lid surgery, this free program is for you.

The event will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, at the West Hartford Senior Center and is co-sponsored by Primary Eye Care Center. If you’re interested in attending, the organizers request that you register in advance.

The Big Schmooze Coming Up This Week

What’s the Big Schmooze? It’s a business networking event for West Hartford businesses, hosted by Advanced Chiropractic.

This BYOB improvisation festival will take place on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 21 and 22, at Playhouse on Park. Cost to attend is $10 per person. Visit the event listing for more information.

Tavern Night

The Noah Webster House’s next Tavern Night is taking place on Friday, Feb. 21. Cost to attend is $32 per person for the general public and $27 for museum members.

That includes dinner, one complimentary drink, live music and tavern games. The menu features steak pie, apples and cheese, fingerling potatoes, green beans and cider cake.

Best of Hartford

The 11th annual Best of Hartford Magazine poll is going on until March 4. Visit the Hartford Magazine website to nominate your favorite businesses and place your votes!

Those who vote are entered to win a gift card to the Best Overall Restaurant or Best New Restaurant. Two gift cards will be awarded.
