State officials have reportedly discovered three more sick horses at on Silver Hill Road in .

According to a report in CT Post, the discovery comes just as the owner of the farm, Appollonio "Paul" Vittorio, 76, was about to enter a special probation program as part of his sentence on animal cruelty charges resulting from his arrest in January, after state officials found

According to the report Vittorio withdrew his request for accelerated rehabilitation after the discovery of the three additional sick horses. He was ordered by Judge Frank Iannotti to get care for the animals.
