[Editor's Note: This article has been updated to reflect a change in the day the Grist Mill Road project will begin.]

A sewer line project is scheduled to begin Monday on Wolfpit Road, according to Captain John Lynch.

The project will entail the areas of Wolfpit Road in the area of Miller Driscoll School and connect on Horseshoe Road. One lane traffic will be necessary for the duration of the project, which is expected to take several months to complete.

"Police Officers will be on site to assist with traffic," he wrote in an email. "Minor delays are expected during the duration of this project."

And on Wednesday, the south section of Belden Hill Road will be closed at Old Belden Hill Road along with the south section of Old Belden Hill Road at Kent Road. Traffic from Belden Hill Road will be detoured down Old Belden Hill Rd. to Kent Road to Rt. 7. The detour will begin at 6:30am until approximately 3:00 pm. All local residents will have access and officers will be on site to assist with the detour.

"The reason for this detour is to facilitate the paving of Grist Mill Road in the area of the Route 7 connector," Lynch wrote.
