Wilton Police Make Six DUI Arrests

On Jan. 24 at 6:34 p.m., police responded to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle in the driveway of a residence on Pimpewaug Road.

Upon investigation, officers determined the vehicle’s operator—Jere Lynne Vile, 59, of Danbury—to be under the influence of alcohol.

Vile’s blood alcohol content was .122.

She was released on a promise to appear in court Feb. 4.

Bradford Stroble, 35, of Greenwich was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and passing on the right after he was observed driving 60 mph in a 40 mph zone on Route 7, by Grumman Hill Road.

On Jan. 26 at 4:47 a.m., police stopped Stroble for speeding and he subsequently failed field sobriety tests and was taken in to custody.

Stroble’s blood alcohol content was .184.

He was released on a promise to appear in court Feb. 7.

Police stopped a vehicle on Route 7, near New Street, after officers observed it traveling at a high rate of speed and crossing over into the oncoming lane of traffic.

Lorraine St. John, 56, of Westport was determined to be under the influence of alcohol and was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on Jan. 26 at 8:32 p.m.

St. John’s blood alcohol content was .18.

She was released on a promise to appear in court Feb. 7.

Niccalena Lariccia, 23, of New Milford was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding after police clocked her traveling 58 mph in a 35 mph zone on Route 7, by Cricket Lane, on Jan. 27 at 2:33 a.m.

After stopping her, she denied drinking twice, but admitted the third time she had consumed alcohol before driving. She failed field sobriety tests and was taken in to custody with a blood alcohol content of .082.

Lariccia was released on a promise to appear in court Feb. 7.

On Jan. 27 at 8:41 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle for failure to keep right at a curve on Belden Hill Road.

It was later determined Daniel Pratt, 24, of Norwalk was driving under the influence of alcohol and driving on a suspended license. He was also charged with failure to return a suspended license and failure to keep right on a curve.

Pratt’s blood alcohol content was .103.

He was released on a promise to appear in court Feb. 7.

A 17-year-old Wilton male was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after police received a report of a fight by a vehicle parked in Wilton Center, near Avalon, on Jan. 28.

Police eventually found the car parked on Horseshoe Road. The driver admitted having a fight with his friend, who had left, but did not wish to pursue charges.

The operator smelled like alcohol and was arrested with a .07 blood alcohol content.

He was released on a promise to appear in court Feb. 7.
