The primary emergency shelter is the Emergency Services Building, Woodbury First Selectman Gerald D. Stomski told Patch via e-mail.
"If there is power in the Senior Center, then the Senior Community Center will be our primary shelter," he said. "It is too early to determine if and/or when the shelter will be opened."
The town's Emergency Management Team is monitoring the storm's progress and will meet again at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, said Stomski.

"We are however encouraging all of our citizens to sign up for CodeRed messages," said Stomski. "We encourage them to sign up their land-lines and cell phone so that we may provide emergency messages throughout the storm event. They may sign up for CodeRed by going to the town's website www.woodburyct.org, and clicking onto the link on the bottom of the page CodeRed, and follow the easy directions for registering."
