New Beauty Spa Coming to Georgetown

GEORGETOWN, DC — Time to get your pamper on: a new beauty spa is moving into a two-story space on Wisconsin Avenue next month. DC Lash Bar, started by two sisters, bills itself as the area's "newest beauty spa specializing in eyelash extension application as well as brow shaping and full body waxing," according to a statement.

DC Lash Bar will be located at 1633 Wisconsin Avenue NW, the former home of Nectar Skin Bar. It will open in late October.

Neighborhood Retail Group secured the location for DC Lash Bar, which was once home to Nectar Skin Bar.

"The two-story space offers a reception desk, upscale living area and beverage bar to offer patrons assorted teas, coffees and wines, a brow bar for waxing and threading services, and an outdoor patio lounge," the statement adds. "The second floor boasts four treatment rooms for an array of eyelash extension services."

In addition to sisters Josie and Stephanie Nguyen, the spa will be run by three technicians, and is currently booking appointments. You can make an appointment via their website at www.dclashbar.com.
