Woman Murdered in Her Bed After 3 Police Reports to Keep Man Away From Her: Report
The woman was reportedly shot to death in her home just a couple weeks after reporting another violent incident to police.

A D.C. woman was reportedly shot to death in her own bed this weekend by the man she had desperately tried to get police to keep away from her, according to a report.
Donald Hairston, 49, faces a charge of first-degree murder after police say he killed 40-year-old Stephanie Goodloe at her home on Kentucky Avenue in Southeast, according to a WTOP report.
Goodloe had filed three police reports and gotten a restraining order against Hairston, including one report on June 4 that alleged he banged on the windows and doors of her home and then slashed her tires, according to court documents as quoted by WTOP.

Hairston apparently wanted to remain in contact with her 11-year-old daughter, but he has been told to stay away from the daughter and is being held without bond. It was the daughter who called 911 when she heard gunshots.
