Maketto is described as "an Asian night market, with a chef's table, patio seating, a coffee bar, and more," according to
Eater has to say about Rural Society: "Philadelphia-based chef Jose Garces is expanding to DC this Summer with the July 3 opening of Rural Society. This Argentine steakhouse — one of
Eater DC's most anticipated openings — will offer charcuterie, various meats and fish prepared on a parilla, house-made pastas, and Argentine pizzas, among other things. AvroKo is behind the restaurant's design, which a press release says is in part inspired by "the rugged Gaucho, South American cowboy, culture as well as the refined style of Buenos Aires."
