1 Killed, 1 Critical following Head-On Crash In South County

One person died and another is in critical condition following a crash Thursday night on County Road 672 in South Hillsborough County.

SOUTH HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — One person died and another is in critical condition following a crash Thursday night on County Road 672 in South Hillsborough County.

According to Hillsborough County Fire Rescue, an SUV and pickup truck crashed head on, killing the SUV driver. The driver of the pickup truck had to be extricated from the truck by rescue crews. He was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition.

A passenger was also taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
