Sheriff Investigates Body Found In Seffner Mobile Home Fire

Law enforcement officials are investigating a death in a mobile home in Seffner following a fire.

SEFFNER, FL -- Law enforcement officials are investigating a death in a mobile home in Seffner following a fire.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, Hillsborough County Fire Rescue, Florida State Fire Marshal's Office and the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner's Office are attempting to determine the cause of death of a man found in a mobile home fire at at 10916 Lee St. in Seffner.

On Wednesday, Jan. 24, at 11:06 a.m., someone called 911 reporting a fire at the mobile home.

Hillsborough County Fire Rescue quickly arrived and extinguished the fire. Once the fire was out, fire personnel found the body of a man in the home.

No foul play is suspected at this time. The victim's name is not being released until the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner's Office makes a positive identification of the victim and next of kin is notified.
