Zephyrhills Woman Dies In Mobile Home Fire Friday

ZEPHYRHILLS, FL -- Pasco County Sheriff's detectives and Pasco County Fire Rescue detectives are investigating a body found after putting out a mobile home fire at 3104 Hidden Lake Drive in Timber Lake Estates on Friday, March 29.

The dead woman has been identified as Christine Porter, 57.

Detectives are awaiting a report from the medical examine on the cause of death and fire investigators on the cause of the fire. It does not appear to be suspicious.

Another Zephyrhills mobile home resident escaped serious injury Thursday, March 28, when a fire broke out at a home in the 3800 block of White Drive.

Firefighters knocked down the fire in about 10 minutes. One resident was transported to the hospital with minor smoke inhalation and firefighters rescued the family dog.
