Person Found Dead In Canal: North Miami Beach Police

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, FL — The body of a male was found Sunday floating in a canal in North Miami Beach, according to police.

Authorities were investigating after the remains were discovered in the Snake Creek Canal near Northeast 169th Street and Northeast 16th Avenue, police said in a tweet around 4 p.m.

"At this time detectives do not suspect any foul play," the tweet said. "There is no further information at this time."
