Suspected Driver of Fatal Crash in Stolen BMW
Police said drugs were also found on Nicholas James Castelao of Hialeah.

MIAMI, FL — A 35-year-old Hialeah man was charged with attempted grand theft auto and possession of a controlled substance after the stolen BMW he is accused of driving was involved in a fatal crash on Sunday.
Nicholas James Castelao of the 900 block of East 31st Street was arrested in Miami following the afternoon accident in which the driver of a VW Jetta was killed and six people were injured in southwest Miami, according to Officer Yelitza Cedano of the Miami Police Department.

Police said that three small green baggies with suspected crystal methamphetamine were found in Castaelao's clothing.

The accident occurred just before 2 p.m. at the intersection SW 17th Street and 25th Avenue.
Miami Fire Rescue told Patch on Sunday that all of the injured victims were between the ages of 25 to 35 years of age.
