Body Found Between Casey Key and Siesta Key

The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the discovery of a body found on the shoreline between Casey Key and Siesta Key Thursday afternoon.

Few details about the investigation are available at this time. Deputies say, however, the body was found in an isolated location in that area.

The sheriff’s office has said the body belongs to white male, but has not indicated a possible age for the victim. It is unclear at this time if foul play is expected. The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
