“Everybody runs at their own speed as far as they can and as long as they want,” said McMahan.
All levels of runners are welcome to join the group for free and folks sign-up on location.
McMahan said that aside from the healthy fun and discounted craft beers, runners will also have a chance to win monthly prizes.
“We will be giving away a one-hour ride on a Yamaha WaveRunner to a lucky runner,” said McMahan.
Can’t make it Tuesday nights?
Running for Brews also meets at 7 p.m. every Thursday at , 402 S. Howard Ave.
Running for Brews began with a small group of seven friends getting together for beers after a relaxing run. It was founded by Kevin Bupp in 2010 in Dunedin, and it later expanded to St. Petersburg and South Tampa.
“It’s grown quite a bit,” said McMahan. “We have an average of 50 runners at each location.”
