Missing St. Pete Man Found Floating In Pond
The body of a St. Petersburg man who was reported missing has been found in a pond near 9768 48th Ave. N. in unincorporated St. Petersburg.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL – The body of a St. Petersburg man who was reported missing has been found in a pond near 9768 48th Ave. N. in unincorporated St. Petersburg.
Christopher Renner, 40, of 5152 98th Way N., St., Petersburg, was last seen around 11:30 p.m. Monday, April 9, leaving the Bay Pines Sports Bar at 9685 Bay Pines Blvd. A family member reported him missing the next day.
His body was found floating in a residential pond at about 7:14 a.m. Thursday, April 12, by a homeowner.

Paramedics responded and pronounced him dead.
Pinellas County Sheriff's detectives say the circumstances surrounding Renner's death do not appear suspicious. The cause and manner of Renner's death are pending the outcome of the Medical Examiner's autopsy.
