Fundraiser To Benefit Autism Research Held at Westchase Restaurant

Catch Twenty Three will be the site of the Jacob's Touch Fall Fundraiser on Saturday.

Fundraiser To Benefit Autism Research Held at Westchase Restaurant

When Kimmie Fine's son Jacob was diagnosed with autism in 2006 there weren't a plethora of resources to help. So she decided to do something about it. Her family founded the Jacob's Touch Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to providing care to families with children on the Autism Spectrum.

On Saturday, August 18, the foundation will host a fundraiser at Westchase's restaurant.

Of all the food and drinks purchased at the restaurant that night, 20 percent will be donated to Jacob's Touch Foundation. That includes takeout. Patrons should instruct their servers that they are there for Jacob's Touch, Fine says.

This is the second year the foundation has hosted a fundraiser at Catch Twenty Three.

"We love Catch and Rob and the staff are always good to us and my son Jacob," Fine says. "We love the food and neighborhood feel to the restaurant and are always successful with this fundraiser."

Reservations are recommended for Saturday's fundraiser. The event is open to the public.
