One of two football clinics targeting mothers will be held next week in Alpharetta.
The Atlanta Falcons will bring the Heads Up Football Moms Clinic to Kings Ridge Christian School on Tuesday, March 18.
The clinic will take place between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. at the school, which sits at 2765 Bethany Bend in Alpharetta. Check-in will start at 6 p.m.
The clinics "will provide helpful information to moms who have children who are considering or play tackle football," the organization said.
They will include classroom instruction on equipment fitting, concussion awareness, and what's know as the heads up tackling techniques.
Participants are asked to come dressed in active wear. Current and former Atlanta Falcons players will be in attendance. While there is no cost to participate, residents must register. Slots are available on a first come, first serve basis.
