A sinkhole caused by a leaking underground waterline has forced the city of Alpharetta to close North Fulton Industrial Boulevard, the city said Friday.
Fulton County Water Department crews have advised that repairs to the waterline cannot be completed until Monday, so the road will remain closed through the weekend.
North Fulton Industrial Boulevard sits off Hembree Road.

The closure will impact traffic and parking for events scheduled to take place at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater this weekend. The first of those events begin Friday evening.
