"Journey through the Stars for Families" at Sandy Creek Nature Center

The Athens-Clarke County Department of Leisure Services will present will "Journey through the Stars for Families" this winter at Sandy Creek Nature Center.

Participants will explore the great beyond and explore a different aspect of astronomy each month.  “A Planet for Goldilocks” is scheduled for Saturday, January 18 from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m..  The next program, set for Saturday, February 8 is entitled “Animals in the Sky” and will take place from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.  Pre-registration is required by Friday, January 17  by calling 706- 613-3615.  

The program fee is $7 for an Athens-Clarke County family and $10 for a non-Athens-Clarke County family.
