The 9th Annual Ride to Survive is upon us! On April 26, 2014 riders will enjoy a
70-mile scenic ride through Barrow,
Banks and Jackson counties that will be escorted by local law enforcement.
The ride will begin and end at the Winder Moose Lodge #262
located at 434 Highway 211
NW. Kickstands up at 11am.
Following the ride, lunch and live entertainment will be
provided as well as the
opportunity to participate in raffles, a 50/50 and door prizes. Grand prize iPad Mini raffle tickets $10.00 or 3/$25.00.
Would you like to participate? Drivers will contribute $20 to participate and passengers
can participate for only $10.
You don’t ride,
but you still want to help? Come join us for the day and enjoy a barbeque lunch for
$5.00. We are looking for businesses to donate items to be used as
door prizes and as raffle items
All proceeds for the event help to support continued services
for adult victims and survivors
of sexual violence in Barrow, Banks, and Jackson counties served by the
Piedmont Rape Crisis Center
(PRCC). PRCC provides services for sexual assault victims as well as secondary victims.
The PRCC’s staff
and volunteers worked with 95 clients,
answered 505 emergency hotline calls,
and connected clients with 160 counseling sessions in 2013.
from local citizens, business and industry is imperative for Piedmont Rape
Crisis Center to continue to
offer programs and services to
the victims, survivors and families.
