Update: Three DeKalb Businesses Destroyed in Doraville Fire

The blaze broke out at 5736 New Peachtree Road. One firefighter suffered minor injuries. No one was inside the building when the fire began.

DORAVILLE, GA -- Three local businesses were destroyed Thursday morning by a large, two-alarm fire.

The fire broke out at 5736 New Peachtree Road, which housed Green Glass, Mexico Auto and an ironworks company.

Some of the machinery inside the building exploded, including tires, reports 11 Alive. All of the businesses were closed when the fire started, but one firefighter suffered minor injuries.

About 50 firefighters responded to the alarm.
