Mayor Davis Helps Ashford Dunwoody Sidewalk Paving
Late last year, the Brookhaven City Council approved an amended 2013 budget with $400,000 for sidewalk improvements throughout the city.

Last Friday, Brookhaven Mayor J. Max Davis and Public Works Director Richard Meehan visited the site of a new sidewalk under construction along Ashford Dunwoody Road where crews began pouring concrete.

Once complete, the sidewalk will stretch 570 feet from Stratfield Drive to Humility Lane.

Including $500,000 allocated for construction in the 2014 budget, almost $1 million in pedestrian improvements is scheduled for the city in its first two years of existence.
