NoCityBrookhaven has raised $34,000 more than BrookhavenYES in the battle over Brookhaven incorporation, according to campaign finance reports filed on Friday.

11Alive's Jennifer Leslie is reporting that reports show NoCityBrookhaven has raised $70,000, while BrookhavenYES has raised $36,000.

NoCityBrookhaven has also spent $56,000 compared to BrookhavenYES' $30,000, according to the Reporter Newspapers.

The families of two prominent Atlantans - Thomas Cousins and John Imlay Jr. - donated $37,600 to NoCityBrookhaven.

Patrick Hoban, CEO of Troncalli Motors and a Historic Brookhaven resident, was BrookhavenYES' largest financial contributor, donating approximately $17,500 in cash and in-kind contributions.

Earlier in the week, for not meeting the deadline for campaign disclosures.
