According to an incident report released by the agency, deputies were dispatched around 9:39 p.m. Tuesday, Aug 11 to the facility, which is located at 71 West Felton Road, in response to an alarm with an inner hallway trigger.
Deputies could hear shuffling inside the main front building and as they embarked on a search around the rear of that facility, “three subjects were spotted trying to flee on foot from a set of open double doors,” according to the report.

The three men -- Cartersville residents Kellen Riley Henson, Brandon Michael Parris and David Andrew Sorrow -- were all handcuffed and detained.
A sweep of the building was conducted with other deputies and a police K-9, and no other suspects were discovered inside the facility.
The three suspects were read their Miranda rights, and another deputy allegedly found a “realistic” looking BB gun on Parris’s person.
“He said he was carrying it in case they ran into any homeless people so they could intimidate them and scare them off,” the deputy wrote in the report.
A black knife was also found on Henson and a red knife was discovered on Sorrow, the report goes on to state.
Henson stated he also initially had an American flag in his possession, but threw it on the ground when he was approached by deputies. The flag, Henson allegedly told police, belonged to the school and was inside one of the classrooms.
Jail records show both Parris and Henson were charged with burglary and possession of firearm or knife while trying to commit crimes.
Sorrow is charged with burglary in the second degree and possession of firearm or knife while trying to commit crimes.
