Two-Vehicle Accident Sends Teen To Hospital

CARTERSVILLE, GA -- A teenager has been airlifted to a hospital following a two-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon in Bartow County.

The collision was reported on Cass White Road at Old Grassdale Road near Cartersville, and Bartow County Fire Department and EMS crews both responded to the crash.

The female teenager in one car was unconscious and unresponsive, and crews had to extricate her from the vehicle, Bartow EMS spokesperson Brad Cothran said.

First responders began treatment on the scene until she was released to the flight crew and taken to a level-one trauma center.
