What will be closed Monday on MLK Day?

Local, county, state and federal agencies and offices will be shut down on Monday.

What will be closed Monday on MLK Day?

By Patch Editor Bob Pepalis

Atlanta City Hall – and most government offices – will be closed Monday for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

Don't join the school carpool or put the kids on the bus on Monday because Atlanta Public Schools also will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20.

Financial institutions and Fulton County government facilities join in taking the day off for the holiday.

Worried about how your stocks are doing? Don't fret on Monday, as they won't be doing anything – stock markets are closed.

Atlanta-Fulton Public Library branches will also be closed for the holiday.

However, most retail stores and restaurants will be open for regular hours on Monday, and the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic site will be open, too.

Where will your children be on the holiday?
