Cumming Greek Festival Celebrates 10th Anniversary
Saints Raphael, Nicholas, and Irene Greek Orthodox Church will host the Oct. 17 - 19 event.

A Cumming Greek Orthodox church will host its yearly celebration of Greek culture later this month on their 16 acre campus, Cumming Local reports.
Saints Raphael, Nicholas, and Irene Greek Orthodox Church is making final preparations for the 10th Annual Cumming Greek Festival, which will be held from Oct. 17 - 19. The festival will be open from 3 to 10 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, and from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. The church is located at 3074 Bethelview Road in Cumming.
The Cumming Greek Festival will showcase traditional Greek foods such as gyros, souvlaki, and dolmades. Adults over 21 years old can sample some authentic Greek beverages, including ouzo. The complete mouth-watering menu is available at the Cumming Greek Festival website.

There will also be live Greek music, dancing, and shopping. Daily tours of the church and the “festival village” are also planned. Kids will get to enjoy a petting zoo, inflatable amusements, and crafting stations.
New to the festival this year is remote parking; Cumming Local says that a remote parking lot will be set up at the Kelly Mill Entrance to West Forsyth High School. Buses will run to and from the festival every five minutes

Admission to the Cumming Greek Festival is $1, but kids 12 and under get in free. Part of the proceeds will benefit Forsyth County charitable organizations.
