Eggs Everywhere: Overturned Tractor Trailer Among 17 Forsyth Wrecks Thursday Morning
Motorists were searching for alternate routes on the first day of school, according to Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.
If any students missed that ever-important breakfast on the first day of school, there were lots of eggs to be had on Matt Highway.
A tractor trailer overturned early Thursday morning near Coal Mountain Drive, causing lane closures for hours while crews worked to clean up the road.
In all, Forsyth Sheriff’s deputies responded to 17 crashes in a 4-hour period.
