In honor of Veteran's Day, here is a list of local businesses that want to say thank you to our military men and women today with discounts and free meals.

Several businesses are saying "thanks" to our military both past and present today. There is a wide variety of discounts and freebies for these heros. If you qualify to receive these, please remember to bring proof of service in order to get most of the deals.

Some of the restaurants in Cumming offering deals to our service people today include:

 is offering all military veterans both past and present a free meal today. They can choose from a selection of 6 choices.

 will give veterans a free meal today. Current and former military can choose from a special selection. This menu can be found here.

will give a free Bloomin' Onion to veterans through today.

 is offering veterans and active duty military 20 percent off their order with this coupon today.

In celebration of Veteran's Day, but not occurring on Friday, Nov. 11 is the following deal for our military.

will give away free dinners between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Nov. 14.

Veterans can also enjoy these shopping and service deals in honor of their service.

 will give veterans a free $14.00 pro-car wash today through the Grace For Vets Program. 

 will give military a 10 percent discount on their shopping total everyday at the store for active and retired people. On Nov. 11 it opens this offer to all veterans as well.

 will also give a 10 percent discount to active military people every day at the store but it is also open to veterans through Nov. 11.
